The detail in this card is amazing, it’s almost 3D like. The pony pulling the cart with children riding, holding the red reigns and the red harness with the golden bells, the red fastener with a golden buckle.  His pale coloured mane falling untidily on the face and his hoof prints in the snow.  Now to the little cart behind, a paler red with 2 small black lanterns giving off a lovely glow, the very green Christmas tree is collecting snow in the branches.  All the children are well wrapped up against the cold and look very happy. There is a little chubby robin perched on the gatepost under a tree that still has a scattering of leaves attached and in the lane on the right there is a holly bush with lovely bright red berries.  In the distance is a little cottage set in a snow covered field.
